Service Description

OBISPO is a restaurant founded by the Espina Family, experts on the enigmatic and not well known Mixtec Gastronomy from the northern mountains of Oaxaca. Ideal for hangover late breakfast, this open air site offers a tasting experience of delicious dishes like Birria, a regional type of lamb (called Obispo) stew made on an underground earth oven with agave leafs. Enjoy and learn tasting a variety of 8 different traditional dishes that involve amazing sauces of different local chilies, seasonal insects, lamb, beef and pork and obviously for veggies, the best variety of local corn tortillas and seasonal local vegetables. An experience of gastronomical proportions!
